Experience
As an undergraduate student at Siena College, I discovered my passion for tutoring while taking a "Peer Tutoring in Writing" class. I was skillfully trained to develop the necessary tools to provide effective one-on-one tutoring sessions with my peers. Working to help my peers with their writing processes quickly became rewarding as an undergraduate student. Now, as a graduate student these rewards have culminated the effect of extensive goals geared towards the development of research in the field of composition studies. I am currently working to develop a Writing Center Program for UMass Boston's PhD/MA business departments as well as for the undergraduate science programs.
