ExperienceMy passions as a tutor are helping students come to a better understanding of subjects, but also to become confident as students. I provide a lot of encouragement and patience in my sessions to allow students to work at their pace and make progress. I currently teach STEM subjects at the middle school level, and I also help students independently off-hours. I graduated from Cornell University, and I have a broad academic background. I'm confident that I can help students in social studies, literature, English, essay writing and editing, reading, ESL, public speaking, art, technology, phonics, algebra one and two, elementary school math, and more. When I have free time, I like to write, run, read, hike, be outdoors, and have stimulating conversations. I also enjoy art and basketball.
