Experience
I recently graduated from medical school, and I was a student who had a lot of difficulty initially. It was difficult for me to understand and memorize medical terminology. Once I discovered how to understand words by their roots, I was able to understand the words without having to use rote memorization. I believe that this is the key to learning any subject, but in particular anatomy. When I came learning physiology, I excelled by relating concepts to things I already knew in the medical field, and I began to make better progress. I've had a lot of different methods to figure out what works for me in each course, and it is often different every time. The same is true for the students that I tutor, so I take pride in my ability to work alongside students and see what works best for them. I also prioritize making sure that information that we study is interesting and fun for students, so I put together engaging sessions. I can tutor students in anatomy and physiology, biology, pathology, pathophysiology, histology, emergency medicine, elementary and middle school science, endocrinology, immunology, medical terminology, and other related subjects. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga and meditation, nutrition, sports, and reading.
