Experience
I tutored in high school and college, and really enjoy working with people. I graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA and a rank of 18 out of 396 students. I took honors and AP level courses. My class was one of the first years to take the new SAT; I received a 740 in math, 710 in writing, and 630 in verbal. I graduated Emerson early (December, 2010) with a GPA of 3.73. For the past three years I've been working at a nonprofit educational organization that creates Math and English assessments for schools (grades 2-8) in order to help teachers and students improve their skills. My biggest strengths include English (especially writing and editing) and math (especially 10th grade and below). I am good at explaining things in a way that makes them simpler to understand. Since school was always one of my strengths, I'd like to use my experience to help students who are struggling, because I believe anyone can be good at anything if they have the right teacher.
