I believe that any person can become skilled in math and science. If you're looking for an open-minded, patient, and warm-hearted person to shepherd you through the rough passageways of AP and college-level math and science, then look no further! I offer new perspectives and guide critical thinking in ways that encourages students of STEM (science, technology engineering, and math) to build their own understanding of the material at hand. Through volunteering with and teaching high school students and undergraduates, I have found that students with certain learning styles or from certain backgrounds are often prevented or discouraged from developing skills and interests in STEM fields. My aim as a tutor is to reverse this trend.
