I majored in Education and Sociology at Bucknell University, and graduated May 2011.
Experience
I tutored many students while in high school, and college. In the 11-12 school year I worked as a full-time tutor at a charter high school in Boston, teaching a minimum of four 65-minute classes to groups of two to four students. I supported them in their English and Math classes, as well as any writing assignments in other classes, while privately tutoring two Geometry students in other Greater Boston area high schools. The 12-13 school year I privately tutored four students in their various math classes at one of Boston's exam schools. I simply love tutoring/ teaching math, and it ended up turning me towards my career path. I realized that I am very invested in the US public education system, and began my involvement with tutoring. I have also taken and passed both the Communication and Literacy MTEL, as well as the Secondary Mathematics MTEL.
