Experience
LOCAL and ONLINE tutoring both available. I'm a Tufts graduate, have been a successful and independent tutor for fourteen years, and taught friends/classmates for as long as I've been alive. Learning should be fun. Conversations should not be dry and dull. I do my best to provide empathy for the student's situation and a casual, comfortable environment. Instilling the ability to learn by making material genuinely interesting to explore is my greatest skill. Feel free to request my résumé and a list of testimonials from satisfied clients. My knowledge of chemistry and Latin is tempered by years of advanced study. Coursework & research experience in the former puts me between B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees. I offer many other subjects as well. While working at the Tufts Academic Resource Center, I helped start a program to aid chemistry students with study skills. If I travel, it is typically by MBTA bus or subway. Lessons are usually near Davis or Porter Square, or conducted online. I do group lessons. For a quote, let me know how many students you have and what your curriculum is. Minimum lesson time is 1 hour. Missed lessons or those cancelled at the last minute (usually cancelled on the same day) have a fee equivalent to 1 hour of lesson time. Feel free to request standardized test scores, all of which are in the top decile.
