I'm Kelly, and I recently finished my degrees in biology and psychology from Boston College, where I graduated cum laude. I'm planning to attend dental school. My experience as a tutor of math and biology has shown me how important it is to get to know each student individually. Each student's learning style is different, so I approach the material based on their preferred style. I believe that helping students develop problem-solving skills is the best way for them to learn. Instead of having students memorize formulas, I help them think about the problem and guide them as a figure out how to solve it. I'm enthusiastic, friendly, and patient. I help students feel comfortable learning and asking questions during our sessions. This help students stay engaged and interested in the topic, and also helps them feel confident in their understanding of the material.
