I'm Ben, and I've been tutoring math for students at all grade levels and levels of ability for the past 18 months. When I work with students, I want to help them feel comfortable so they can communicate openly with me and are not afraid to give wrong answers. This allows me to help students develop their skills more quickly. My bachelor's degree is East Asian Studies at Connecticut College, and I also studied at the University of New Haven for my master's degree in education. This academic background gives me the tools that I need to provide different perspectives and explanations to students, which helps a wider base of students understand math.
