I went to Dickinson College to earn my bachelor's degree in chemistry. I then entered the doctoral program for chemical biology that included classes at Cornell University and research at the Rockefeller University. As a tutor, I've had the opportunity to help students at different ages and abilities learn science. I've developed the ability to adapt my approach to the learning style of each student that I work with. I love science, and I've spent a decade mastering chemistry and biology. I like to utilize my experiences and knowledge to help science makes sense to students, and help them develop an appreciation of it. When I have free time, I like to spend time with friends and family, get outdoors the dog, run, and ski.
