Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in Classics with an Environmental Studies minor from Princeton University. My focus in college was Roman History. Following graduation I obtained a job teaching kindergarten and first grade in Massachusetts, where I was tasked with helping design Science and Social Studies curricula on top of my responsibilities teaching Math and Reading. In addition, I have experience working with adults as they prepare for the GED, and teaching English as a second language. Throughout all my work I have had the opportunity to assist students of all ages on nearly the entire spectrum of subjects. I love tutoring because it brightens my day when I see a student progress from not understanding to expertise. My favorite field in school was always Math, and I am most comfortable tutoring that, as well as Literature and History that I focused on in college. In my free time I like to stay active by hiking and playing field hockey. I also love to spend time hanging out with my dogs and family, as well as traveling as much as I can.
