I want my students to take an active role in their learning, because I believe students do not learn from a teacher who does the work for them. That being said, I make sure my students have a firm understanding of the concepts they are learning, and stress to them that learning basic concepts is much more important than solving an individual problem. I have tutored my siblings, working hard to make sure they understood problems they were having difficulties with, and I have also been a swim teacher, volunteered in classrooms, and tutored high school students. I am available to tutor students in Algebra 1-2, Calculus 1-3, Geometry, Precalculus, Physics, Arithmetic, Computer Science, and Science. I also tutor test prep for SAT Math and Writing, SSAT-Elementary and Middle Level, and AP Calculus AB.I am currently a student at Tufts University, where I am earning my degree in Civil Engineering and Computer Science, and expecting to graduate in May 2016. When I'm not busy, I enjoy basketball, including fantasy basketball. I am also involved in music production. In addition to those hobbies, I enjoy structural analysis and web development.
