Since finishing college, I have taught literature and writing at the college level, helping students edit their papers for various classes. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I was awarded the James William Fay Essay Prize for best college-level writing in my senior year. I also minored in dance, with an emphasis in ballet. I have taught ballet for more than ten years. After college, I studied English at Boston College, focusing on postcolonial literature and theory. My studies specifically emphasized literature from Ireland, India, and England, and I completed a master's degree in this area. Currently, I live in Somerville, MA and tutor many different English courses, including ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, IB Extended Essay, College Essays, and Public Speaking.Outside of tutoring, I enjoy watching the Patriots play on game days, reading, and watching movies. I also enjoy taking different types of dance classes and going to concerts.
