I hold a Master's in Education from Harvard University and am the Program Director of a youth leadership training organization. I love working with each individual student to find out what works best for them, and believe that all students can excel with the right support and teaching style. Additionally, I hold a B.A. from Tufts University in International Relations, Magna Cum Laude Honors
Experience
I have extensive experience on which to draw including my Ed.M in Education, my experience teaching youth as the Program Director of my organization, and my experience tutoring. I have a lifelong love of teaching. Some of my key qualifications: - Perfect Score (800) in Critical Reading on the SAT - Score of 5 on 5 AP Tests (AP English Literature, AP US History, AP European History, AP Psychology, AP Biology) - Proficient in 5 languages: English, French, Hebrew, Arabic, Hungarian - Study abroad in France at Université de Paris 1- La Sorbonne (all coursework in French) - Tutoring experience in SAT and College Prep, English, Social Studies, and organization/study skills - Experience teaching English as a Second (or Other) Language (ESOL) to refugees resettled in the Boston area - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a love of writing and research I would be happy to work with your child of any age or level as they prepare for standardized testing (SAT), college admissions, writing and research skills, school courses (any grade level), or general competencies.
