I'm a tutor based in Boston, Massachusetts, where I enjoy non-fiction reading and writing, playing piano, and running when I'm not working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Tufts University, as well as my PhD in physical chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At MIT, I was a presidential fellow and a department of defense graduate fellow. At Tufts, I graduated summa cum laude with the school's highest thesis honors. I'm also a frequent speaker at international science events and published in my research journals. I've also spent a considerable amount of time tutoring and mentoring students at both Tufts and MIT. In fact, I even won a graduate teaching award at MIT for my intro to chemistry and physical chemistry courses, which saw students consistently perform higher than their peers in other sections by a margin of five grade points. I'm in between school and beginning my career as a full-time management consultant, and would love to continue the passion I've developed for tutoring.
