Education
I am currently in a postdoctoral position at MIT, studying atmospheric chemistry. I got my PhD from the University of Chicago in 2017, studying physical chemistry (specifically: properties of materials using atomic and molecular beam scattering). I graduated from Boston College in 2011 with a BS in chemistry (with honors) and a mathematics minor. While there, I did research in climate change and looked at the effect hydrocarbons on the ozone layer.
Experience
I've been a TA in general chemistry at UChicago for four years, during which time I've won multiple teaching awards and recognitions. I've run weekly public tutoring sessions for drop-in students, and have privately tutored several high-school and college chemistry students. In addition, I am the president and content creator for Knowvio, which creates study-aid apps for such subjects as chemistry, physics, and biology. I created Chemistry X, which is a great study aid for students in high school and college-level general chemistry.
